Graydon Gallery, Brisbane
2013
An exhibition featuring corrupt or ‘glitched’ digital files an exploring the idea that the digital world can be expressive and that the aesthetics that are created by digital ‘mistakes’ have an ethereal beauty. Cachinero had immersed herself in a new aesthetic language that she translated into colourful and layered artwork. Consuming, Laughing, Forgetting was a multidisciplinary undertaking that included painting, video, installation, drawing and photographs.
